How to login

1. ACCESS THE OTC PORTAL on REMOTE-LEARNER: http://otcportal.org/

Login box
  • Username = the email address you registered with the conference.
  • Password = Changeme.2
  • After logging in you may be forced to change your password. Do pick one you will remember and save it.
  • Guest access is available by clicking on Login button and Guest option. Guests can read but not post in forums.

2. SET YOUR PROFILE:

Finding your Profile: Once you have logged in, click on your name next to the “Logout” link near the top right corner of the page.

BASIC PROFILE (click on the “Edit Profile” tab):

  • New password: if you want to change your password, enter one here. It’s a good idea to verify what you typed by checking the “Unmask” box.
  • Email display: allows you to share your email address with others or not.
  • * City/town: enter in your location (*required field)
  • Description: feel free describe yourself as you would like others to know you.
  • Adding a Profile Picture: Browse to the picture you want. For best results choose a picture cropped to approximately 100 x 100 pixels at 72 dpi. Be sure to add your name in the “Picture description” field, and then click on the “Update profile” button. Refresh your browser to see your updated picture.

ADVANCED PROFILE (Click on “Show Advanced” button):

  • Email format: choose the setting you want for receiving messages.
  • Email digest type: allows you to choose if you’d like a digest of forum post delivered via email.
  • Forum auto-subscribe: Set to “Yes …” to receive postings via email or “No …” to stop them.
  • Forum tracking: Set to “Yes …” to allow you to easily see new unread posts.

FINISHING UP:

When you have completed your profile page, click on the “Update profile” button at the bottom of the page. Otherwise, your profile updates will be lost.

You will be prompted to download any required software. Just click the "Run", "Install" and "Accept" statements that appear on your screen. When the computer has the required components, you will see the "Congratulations!" message.

Please note: You’ll need either speakers or a head set to listen to the sessions on your computer.
